Painting a picture of Rosemont’s bright future with University of Leeds
Rosemont is extremely pleased to announce the launch of our Art Competition in conjunction with University of Leeds this March, which offers all students an opportunity to design artwork for Rosemont’s brand new Innovation Centre. This landmark project-build aims to firmly place Rosemont on the map of pharmaceutical research & development as the business grows following Private Equity investment. The Innovation Centre, due to complete in April 2022 will be home to Rosemont’s Scientific Departments consisting of laboratory areas and modern open-plan offices. The interior design focus is based on the company’s five values and looks to encompass the capabilities and mindset of its’ employees in a bright, modern build. Jo Howorth, Head of Skills Development at Nexus, University of Leeds commented:
“This is a completely new project for the University of Leeds which will offer all students a chance to get involved. By opening the competition to everyone studying at Leeds, and not just those enrolled in art-related subjects, we hope to see an extremely diverse range of entries. This is also a fantastic opportunity for students to gain experience in designing art based on their interpretation of a given brief. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!”
Prize money of £500 for each winning artist is believed to attract many students to take part in this opportunity as well as to have their artwork displayed at the innovation Centre. Howard Taylor, CEO of Rosemont adds:
“This is an exciting opportunity for us as a local business, to engage with University of Leeds students along with the Nexus Community to attract some great talent as our business grows. We have one student entry who is studying Zoology but has always painted in her spare time – this is a wonderful opportunity to involve the University with this important milestone in the expansion of our business.”
