Quality Control Manager
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for QC testing of finished products, raw materials and packaging materials. Ensures products are tested according to plan to support the production and packaging schedules in accordance with approved methods.
• Ensure all test methods, procedures, specifications and other controlled documents used in the laboratory are up to date, reflect current practice and comply with GMP or compendial requirements where applicable.
• Ensures relevant standards are complied with and that changes to the Quality Management System
within the scope of the department are in line with internal and external requirements
• Develop and maintain laboratory systems to ensure efficient, safe and compliant operation. Perform document review and approvals as required by Document Systems.
• Responsible for the stability testing of finished products in accordance with the site stability plan.
• Leads and guides others in quality driven initiatives in the continuous support of Quality Improvement.
• Play an active part in audits ensuring that high standards are maintained.
• Lead in the development of the longer-term capabilities for the Quality Control team through coaching and mentoring of direct reports.
• Management of headcount across the QC function in line with budget.
• Undertakes such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time to support the department and business activities.
• Acknowledge responsibility to ensure an effective Quality Management System in order to achieve Quality Objectives for the Site and QC function.

Knowledge and Experience
•Typical Years of Experience-6-8 years experience.
•Minimum Expected Education- Level 6 – Bachelor’s Degree.
•Additional Information-Typically a minimum of 6 years in the field and 2 years supervisory experience. University Degree or equivalent required.
